70th Independence Day was celebrated at Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Chhan, Bhojpur Road in presence of Vedic Pundits, Vedic Scholars and members of various Maharishi Organisations.
After flag hoisting by Brahmachari Girish Ji, national anthem was sung and sky got reverberated with Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram slogan. Addressing all present Brahmachari Girish said that "History of India and its glory is unparallel. Indian eternal Vedic wisdom is not only Indian but global valuable heritage. This has been challenged and attacked time to time by opponents and still being done. We have knowledge, we have proven Vedic principles and techniques and we are capable to offer our dear world family peace, prosperity, perfect health, enlightenment, invincibility and heavenly life. Our desire should be solid and our consciousness should be fully awaked for doing so".
Brahmachari Girish further said that "Vedic Pundits have knowledge and technology of 'Heyamdukhamanagatam' (to avert the danger before it comes). We are all ready to die for the nation, but it is not really required. In today's address honourable Prime Minister said that thousands of our dear soldiers have died defending our nation. We can save our youth. To get victory over enemy, we don't need to kill him, we can win him over by prevent developing enmity in his mind".
Girish Ji has invoked Vedic Yagya experts to save and secure our nation India through daily practice of Yog and performance of Yagyas.
Vedic Pundits have chanted Rashtra related mantras and richas of Vedas and celebration has concluded with distribution of sweets.
